You will need either 12oz or 16oz of fresh hot water depending on your desired quantity. The water temperature will vary depending on the type of tea you are making. For green teas, the temperature should be 200-205°F. For black and herbal teas, the temperature should be 198-204°F.

2 Grab Your Tea

Every tea requires a different weight for ideal flavour and strength. For Cream of Assam and Earl Grey Cream you will need 3 grams (12oz cup) or 4 grams (16oz cup). For Chai, you will need 5 grams (12oz) or 7 grams (16oz cup). For Jasmine and Houjicha, you will need 4 grams (12oz cup) or 6 grams (16oz cup). For Peppermint, Chamomile, Rooibos, you will need 3 grams (12oz up) or 4 grams (16oz cup).

If you are brewing green, add the tea to your water. If you are brewing black or herbal, add the water to your tea.

Steep Your Tea

4 Steep Your Tea

Each tea calls for a different steep time for optimal flavour extraction. Jasmine and Houjicha need 1 minute. Cream of Assam, Earl Grey Cream, and Chai need 4 minutes. Peppermint, Chamomile, and Rooibos require 5 minutes.

Dispense & Serve

5 Dispense & Serve

The BrewT features a dispense-valve at the center base of the unit. Simply press up on the base of the unit by placing it atop your empty service vessel. Make sure your vessel size exceeds the quantity within the BrewT to avoid overfilling.
